This week I came to a realisation that there are many people on sites like Folksy and Etsy who also have a day job – working for the man. So I thought I’d do a little Folksy Friday dedicated to branching out on your own. Of course you’ll be needing to dress the part to get those new clients or show a good impression to potential stockists of your work, a desk to do all your book keeping from, a pencil pot and desk tidy to keep the space you have to work in stress free, a lovely laptop case for when you’re on the move, and a post-it note pad and USB pen in one for making important notes and storing important things (like photos from your shop or your tax returns for the year!)
